GTA Vice City - VCMP
The Grand Theft Auto games are some of the best games in the world. Despite having an 18 rating, they allow the player to engage in many different activities, and allow you to wander and roam in massive free areas.
GTA Vice City is the second in the GTA 3 series. It was about the story of Tommy Vercetti, and his story about his empire in the ficticious Vice City, based on Miami, in Florida, USA. It currently holds the record for the most game sales on the PlaySataion 2.
The PC version is the one that we use, however. There are several multiplayer modifications for this game, we use VC-MP.
The server we use is customised. It was created based on other servers, and some had a lack of vehicles in some areas. This server has many varietys of cars and vehicles in-game, as well as health, armour and specific weapon spawns in certain areas.

Gangs:
The server has 5 main teams. Each team has another team that they dislike, a team they like and a special gang car.
The Bikers: The bikers are actually soft at heart, and show this off by their infamous pink Faggio in their base. They are great friends with the Vercetti gang, but hate the Police. You can usually find them hiding at their base in Downtown or attacking Washington Beach police station.
Military: The millitary have some of the best weapons in the game. Their special vehicle is the Hunter, which is able to destroy anything. However, they have a massive weakness, they are the most hated gang in the game. They are on their own, and have no backup to assist them. However they have more than enough firepower to last on their own.
Vercetti Gang: The Vercetti gang is exceptionally protective of their home on Starfish Island. They also have access to some powerful weaponary. They are great friends with the Biker Gang, but hate the Vigilantes. Their vehicle is set of Stingers just outside their base, however these seem to be stolen by other gangs a lot.
Vigilantes: The vigilantes love themselves and their job. They have an excessive amount of money from their crime fighting days, and now use that money on sports cars and sub-machine guns and that sort of thing. They are severly hated and hate the Vercetti Gang, but are friends with the police. Their cars are the Vigilante Cheeta's.
Police: The underfunded Vice City Police have had to move their base to Washington beach. There they have a selection of weapons that are unique to them, as well as a large variety of police vehicles. They are in a way friends with the Vigilantes, are infifferent to Vercetti's gang (because of the large bribes that the comissioner gets) but have a distinct hatred of the Bikers, as they stand for everything that they are against.
Modes of Play:
Free Mode: Free Mode is as the title suggests - Do whaterver you like. Kill people. Or you could race. Or you could do drive by's on people while their racing. Whatever.
Tip off the Roof: This game takes place on a roof of a building. Every person gets a car. Last still on the roof with their car wins. Maybe you can guess the middle.
Race: A race across the vast City of Vice. Unlike other races, you must use a large variety of vehicles to traverse across the city.
Team Deathmatch: A team deathmatch that takes place on Prawn Island, Starfish Island or Leaf Links. Depending on the amount of players, the team wins by the amount of team kills.
Chase the Faggio: Every player must learn to work as a team to try and dismount the player on the Faggio. Once the player is dismounted, the player that caused the dismount must mount the Faggio with a 5 second head start. The game ends when the Faggio explodes, and the person who caused it to explode is then out of the game. Needs more tactics than you would think!
Survivor: All victims are placed in a very open area with the same weaponary. Most kills wins.
The Escort: Try and drive from A to B while trying to survive being run off the road.
Open Warfare: Kill only members of the team you hate. Points deducted for decapitation of friendly teams. (Note - If it does not mention that you even care about a certain team, why would you get punished?)
Stunt Mode: Ever wanted to do mad things using other players and Vice City? Stunt mode allows you to use some admin codes to allow this! And the admins are there to help you as well.
